onna last sunday bun took a chance to take the lads from her US office out to a big house of burlesque where they're was a show going on in the afternoon with what the yanks call 'soccer' and what us more cultivated europeans rather call 'footy'.

since bun's favourite club der arminia from bielefeld is heading straight for relegation into the german fourth league in two zero twelve - it's a right shame, isn't it? - it seemed appropriate for your humble editoress to take the boys from the dog end of all hoods out to a proper premier league match and that very day it happened that fc dortmund was playing local team arminia hannover

to cut a rather long & boring story short - fc dortmund is a shit team cause they lost the match within the last 5 minutes of the game - everybunny was happy except for the estimated 20+ thousand fans that came from dortmund to support there team. never mind the bollocks, here' the footage bun got out of this trip - ladies & gentlemen, der Kanal von Haselore präsentiert:

at first bun thought that mr. dorau really was going to show up

then for a while she got to relax inna comfy chair

and much later she even had to have a look through

... untill she noticed that the clock showed that it was 5 am already

bottom line was that mr. dorau just did not show up,

field day - an evening with hier krepiert

on one of her strolls through what your humble editoress calls "her barrio", bun noticed a poster that instantly drew her attention...

it looked like inna evening hier krepiert were going to play a free show - so your humble editoress got inna driver's car and both went off to der cafe glocksee at hi-speed!

bun got their timely enough to get tro check out the merchtable - once again not succeeding in nicking any of the stuff - but there weren't any proper covers to go with the new hier krepiert 7"s anyway...

after a rather strange support band had ended with there set hier krepiert started with wacken null acht - a stupid cockrock parody song that is so old bun could recognize it instantly - but at least only a short version got played..

and next out of nowhere there was a tourist coming up on the stage and she just filmed the audience - just hope she caught somebun on camera so she has a proof that she went to documant on the show for the kunstlersozialkasse!

after what hier krepiert called "the first block of songs" the drummer had a break for a cigarrette and the singer started a strange rap - the contents of which were too hard to understand for your humble editoresse's rather bad knowledge of the german language... ...and then the singer even started to change his clothes on the stage - which was a bit embarrassing to watch for everybun!

...but the band went on with there set - playing there version of dag nasty's "you are mine" - the singer still not properly dressed up again. and time was short indeed and it had gotten late already so that bun had to hop home to her husband hasmuth and therefore delay doing an interview up to some point in the probably very distant future!

but not before getting aquainted with the band's manageress to beg for some free merchandise - but the lady behind the counter told her to go FOAD if bun weren't going to give any donations into the box!

well...screw those bitches i am too poor to donate for anybunny elses' causes, but still you can donate for mine!

in the last week your humble editoress strolled through her neighborhood when a job offer attracted her attention

but she had to learn that most employers ask for the qualifications that not anybun has

when suddenly she spotted another advertise that made her curious what kind of show exactly would be going on at that pub later in the evening...

when dawn came it was time to get aquainted with snakey and we both went off to der nordstadtbraut pub to check out the bands

of which In Laudanum sadly had already been playing there last three chords when team bunswick had finally managed to enter the overcrowded place

but it was not long untill sister chain & brother john entered the stage to kick off with their set

after the show had finished bun made an appointment for an interwiew and so snakey and myself had to kill some time. at first we were trying to nick some stuff off the merch table...

but with not much success... and suddenly your humble editoress got to realize that there was an exhibition called "welcome at my playground" going on in the taproom!

onna last weekend bun hopped to the shores of the river ihme to check out what had become of the Calenberger Loch down glocksee that had been announced for so long...

the brilliant plan was to have it set just opposite the legendary ihmezentrum so that the people living in their could watch it from there balconies

the very place that in 2010 still was the scene of an exhibition of pieces of the fine arts

and of course home to all the trees that some happy dogs and there respective owners regularly used to have there slashes at...

but for two zero one one it was obvious that the Calenberger Loch was going to be forced upon the dwellers down their!

and bun had to hop there to find out was was really going on!

bun was not surprised to see an impressive wall erected - not unlike the ones that had made cities like berlin and belfast world famous and places of historically important gatherings...

and it looked much like the local citizens were going to show the world that there town was spelled with two capital N - much different to all those places overseas rather abusing the very same name...

... what your humble editoress was really surprised about was to find out that they had an arts exhibition newly installed in the hallway - resembling the aforementioned one that once had been located at the waterfront - but taking those works approaches further in a more direct way!

it was sunday the 13th of february, the day right after shooting a documantry down der glocksee club

---and your humble editoress had got word that there was a celebration of her pal dr. nic's bithday planned at der stumpf location by high noon featuring progressive rock duo Trust from denmark!

as she had already missed the band Rising from the same country a couple months ago and Rising had been called a smashing live experience by some eyewitnesses bun thought she were never gonna miss a group from denmark again!

the event had started with some great meal due by half past eleven

and energy efficient lights got lit so that the guests could watch the group - at first bun tried to watch the band from the counter but soon found out that she could not see a single string from their...

the other band on the bill had performed the evening before and pissed off when the whole festivity had all offa sudden been stopped by the local authorities, which wasn't a nice thing to do to my main man dr. nic onna date of celebration of his birthday

after trust's performance bun took her time to hang around next to the merch table...

...waiting for the group to get dressed up for interview that's part of the following movie - taken right from "der Kanal von Haselore"

the band asked your humble editoress to donate some cash for lighting up a candle - a light in the darkness to embrace those poor souls from the local authorities who got nothing better to do than going on upright promoter's nerves...

... and who would not want those nice folks from trust to play there hometown?

onna yesterday's saturday, the 12th of february 2011 your humble editoress went off to der cafe glocksee once again - this time to see a special show with lots of bands and surprises

one of the afrorementioned surprises seemed to be a 21st century digital remake of the world famous punkerkartei that is said to have been installed in hannover as early as in 1982...

... and there really was a cop dressed as a photographer to get more mugshots of the unlucky ones made - apparently she tried to catch those unsuspecting folks that came hopping back on their way from the conveniences...

fortunately having not been recognized by the larger public so far, bun went into the main hall to get a glimpse on what was going on on stage, bandwise:

at first she got to watch the simpletones playing they're which was a surprise indeed and they were followed on stage by kein hass da which is basically the old bad brains singer...

...with wot looked like a new lineup exchanging the brothers for some honkytonks out of... well, dunno... ...austria perhaps?

"nevermind" bun thought and she made sure to get an even better seat that was located right behind the mixing desk......that very sadly did not do any good to the sound coming up from her next clips:

soon after the show had finished it got time for your humble editoress to make a polish exit - as her jerry friends use to call this kind of quick piss off under the radar...

on the outside bun thought that she could as well check out phonogramm who were playing vice versa the cafe glocksee - and obviously they were doing alright!

inna october of two zero one zero your humble editoress went to a practice of world famous krautrock orchestra hier krepiert that she documanted on right here on her own cool channel called der kanal von haselore, when all offa sudden she noticed one of those glossy stickers by cave canem - right next to an advertisement for the lyrical offerings of the kopfnuss verlag.

"nix wie hin" bun thought and hopped home to grab her holdall and get a seat booked onna next train to frankfurt as for timely showing up at der Kopfnuss Showcase down the Bockenheim

onna friday afternoon your humble editoresse goes onna walk through "the barrio" - sorting out pieces dedicated to the more or less fine arts to documant on and getting quite a bit disgusted with what's on offer - wondering what to do inna evening she all offa sudden notices a poster that's to grab her attention rather quickly...

finally some real music onna terraces she thought - sadly she could not get an interview with the leader of the shaolin nor was sir neville gonna be available to talk to the press - but as usually bun went to investigate further into the subject...

bun had to hop to the current incarnation of hannover's old stadthalle - the green copper roof of which was rumoured to have been delivered back in 1953 or so by some "volkseigener betrieb" in the russian sector of austria, in fact from infamous industrial town amstetten

the building that includes the main stage of the academy of st. martin in the fields' performance is called *der kuppelsaal" and up their bun had quite a bit of a difficulty to get seated

first she had to pass the cloak room that was located just below some advertisement for the more crucial dates in german history

the reserved seat was a proper one up the second rank from where bun could watch the orchestra performing some romantic fantasy by berlioz that got the band tight - so to speak frankly - first, and next on a piano concerto written by the main man from austria next to falco.

as for this piece their was a guest star called martin helmchen who put in a healthy dose of experimental overtones that helped bun to survive a piece by mozart without falling asleep instantly. the pianist ended with some piece by bach in an arrangement by nobun could really tell her what that was because not even the jerrys in second rank could unterstand more than the first half of the announcement

after playing that piece the orchestra went onna longer break and bun had the chance to hop out for a short nap in the foyer before sir neville marriner and his academy of st. martin in the fields returned for a symphony by dvorak as can be heard inna clip below - just here onna Looking For Kohl and for legal reasons sadly not openly on "der kanal von haselore"

dvorak's symphony got followed by - out of all tunes - a well known british peace they use to call "it's derry air not londonderry air" in ireland. the orchestra returned for yet another encore that bun later overheard people in inna audience mentioning it was brahms' hungarian dances.

it had gone late already and hasmuth was probaly sitting at home listening to some dull r&b and naturally getting bored of it quickly so bun was expected back home soon!

so bun took the chance to hop off soon after the show had finished - it did not look like the audience would have lost a lot of jewellery on the dance floor anyway and so she rather quickly got into the first one of the cabs waiting just for her

atrocity exhibition too - an evening with major murks & child abuse

onna 10th of january two zero one one your humble editoress hopped over to the other side of der river liene cause she had been invited to the second child abuse show in hanover/germany within the course of just 360 plus daymares!

upon her arrival bun was just lucky indeed that the door of perception got swung up wide open in order to celebrate her lovely appearance!

.. and she took her chance to watch the last part of major murk's support set

from that special seat his very-rarely-if-at-all-smiling manageress had reserved for her!

as you probably have heard for your beautiful selves inna cool video-sequence right above this block of rather unnecessary text murksey's set was basically about molesting two rather old fashioned types of personal computers very hard!

after the set - that got the artist quite a bit of well earned attention - your humble editoress took the chance to check out the ambience of gott's favourite place ... not to say there very own wreck of a so called rehearsal room...

... just up to the point in herstory where child abuse came up on stage to prepare there gear for they're all out attack!

child abuse started playing there set to a delighted audience consisting of some dozens alternative music fans eagerly awaiting to hit the "likes" badge on there facebook pages right after having returned home from the show...

after the encore of child abuse's set

your humble editoress had to kill some time by hanging out right nexr to the bar

while trying to chat up those underpaid servicemen behind that very bar...

just about untill the time for her interview appointment with major murks and luke from child abuse came on to her like a starfighter down your backyard back inna days when it was cool for any ministry of defence's president to have bought some from there friends at lock heed - which - very surprisingly - actually is not some muddy lake down central scotland -

and all went according to the detailled plan your humble editoress had laid out days if not weeks ahead of the actual happening...

having finished with the interview bun went on her way home and got a chance to have this very special evening's remains portrayed and documanted on:

but in the dark your humble editoress also envisioned some strange appearance in the park- most likely the one of dr. fulci - a creature that seemed to have spawned out from some horrible eighties new wave disco with the monochrome coming out of her sony walkman
