in the last week your humble editoress strolled through her neighborhood when a job offer attracted her attention


but she had to learn that most employers ask for the qualifications that not anybun has


when suddenly she spotted another advertise that made her curious what kind of show exactly would be going on at that pub later in the evening...


when dawn came it was time to get aquainted with snakey and we both went off to der nordstadtbraut pub to check out the bands


of which In Laudanum sadly had already been playing there last three chords when team bunswick had finally managed to enter the overcrowded place


but it was not long untill sister chain & brother john entered the stage to kick off with their set

after the show had finished bun made an appointment for an interwiew and so snakey and myself had to kill some time. at first we were trying to nick some stuff off the merch table...


but with not much success... and suddenly your humble editoress got to realize that there was an exhibition called "welcome at my playground" going on in the taproom!

a tad later eventually sister chain & brother john made it over to the interview that was going to be conduct for Looking For Kohl - the very same blog that you are reading right know!

after we had finished with the interview your humble editoress was going to get some more drinks when it dawned on her that the waiters probably were not going to bring her any more free refreshments - a fact that bun took as a reminder that the time had come to hop home to her bed...


... but not before getting another photo made with the evening's cool bands!

...after a pecaeful night your humble editoress was shocked to see that spring was clocking in again!


...looks like time to pick up snakey and go out for a pint!

the wall

said but true - another unfairy tale about the place between the two rivers..


onna last weekend bun hopped to the shores of the river ihme to check out what had become of the Calenberger Loch down glocksee that had been announced for so long...


the brilliant plan was to have it set just opposite the legendary ihmezentrum so that the people living in their could watch it from there balconies



the very place that in 2010 still was the scene of an exhibition of pieces of the fine arts


and of course home to all the trees that some happy dogs and there respective owners regularly used to have there slashes at...


but for two zero one one it was obvious that the Calenberger Loch was going to be forced upon the dwellers down their!


and bun had to hop there to find out was was really going on!



bun was not surprised to see an impressive wall erected - not unlike the ones that had made cities like berlin and belfast world famous and places of historically important gatherings...


and it looked much like the local citizens were going to show the world that there town was spelled with two capital N - much different to all those places overseas rather abusing the very same name...



... what your humble editoress was really surprised about was to find out that they had an arts exhibition newly installed in the hallway - resembling the aforementioned one that once had been located at the waterfront - but taking those works approaches further in a more direct way!


well, time to quote somebun else's band again before hopping off to bed

desperate measures - meeting trust from copenhagen

it was sunday the 13th of february, the day right after shooting a documantry down der glocksee club

---and your humble editoress had got word that there was a celebration of her pal dr. nic's bithday planned at der stumpf location by high noon featuring progressive rock duo Trust from denmark!

as she had already missed the band Rising from the same country a couple months ago and Rising had been called a smashing live experience by some eyewitnesses bun thought she were never gonna miss a group from denmark again!

the event had started with some great meal due by half past eleven

and energy efficient lights got lit so that the guests could watch the group - at first bun tried to watch the band from the counter but soon found out that she could not see a single string from their...

the other band on the bill had performed the evening before and pissed off when the whole festivity had all offa sudden been stopped by the local authorities, which wasn't a nice thing to do to my main man dr. nic onna date of celebration of his birthday

after trust's performance bun took her time to hang around next to the merch table...

...waiting for the group to get dressed up for interview that's part of the following movie - taken right from "der Kanal von Haselore"

the band asked your humble editoress to donate some cash for lighting up a candle - a light in the darkness to embrace those poor souls from the local authorities who got nothing better to do than going on upright promoter's nerves...

... and who would not want those nice folks from trust to play there hometown?

nobunny i guess - except for some poor fuckers...
